Location: Blairsville City Hall, Blairsville, GA (Established on June 6, 2013) Monthly Meeting is on 1st Thursday of each month. 

Mayor Jim Conley, a native of Union County GA, became a Blairsville City Council member in 1996. He later became Mayor of Blairsville in 2005. Mayor Conley who is eighty-three years old plans to retire soon from public office. He has served as the facilitator of this location since its inception June 6, 2013. Mayor Conley has five children, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Mayor Conley quoted, “ I am happy to be a part of Awake America Prayer Meetings and have seen a lot of new faces through the years attend our prayer meeting.”

His motto is: “Love God and treat others with respect.”

Mayor Conley’s favorite scripture is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
