About Dennis

Dennis Gorges was born in the Bronx, New York and grew up in nearby Westchester County. At age 17, he moved to Florida where he worked with his dad as a telephone cable splicer’s helper. At age 19, his dad talked him into joining the Navy where later he worked on jet airplanes as an aviation electrician for four years in active duty and then two more in the Naval reserves.
Upon leaving the military in 1988, he worked for several different aircraft companies around the country as an electrician, sheet metal mechanic, and finally manufacturing engineer.

In 2011 Dennis married his beautiful wife, Rainey, and in 2014 they moved to Blue Ridge, GA. Shortly thereafter, they joined World Harvest Church North and remain active members. Dennis serves in lighting and sound. He and Rainey are intercessors as well.

Hearing the Word shared at WHCN has drawn them both much closer to the Lord. They have attended Awake America Prayer meetings since 2014 and are now available to help serve as facilitator and assistant to AAPM in Blue Ridge. God is so Good!
